Modifications of Official Rules
This will be a two-player game. Each player will begin by being issued the standard $1500 seed money by the bank.
There will be no auctioning of properties. Each player must land on a property in order to purchase it.
Each player is eligible to buy four color groups of properties. These are preassigned. When only one property of any color group remains available for purchase either player may purchase it upon landing on it. Utilities and railroads may be bought by either player.
If a player lands on a property which he/she is eligible to purchase, this property must be purchased, even if other properties must be mortgaged and hotels and houses have to be sold and returned to the bank in order to meet the purchase price. If the property cannot be purchased in this manner play will proceed normally.
There is no limit on the number of houses and hotels available.
Houses and hotels must be built and broken down evenly. If one property of a color group has a house, houses or a hotel on one property of a color group all other properties of that same color group must have the same number of houses or a hotel. No property can be improved if the player has any mortgaged properties, nor can a player mortgage properties for the purpose of improving other properties. If a player has a house, houses or a hotel on a color group, the player may mortgage other properties in order to pay debts or buy other properties, but cannot further improve the improved properties until the mortgage(s) are settled.
The game will ordinarily end when one player goes bankrupt. The valuation to the winner will be determined as follows:
If a game cannot end in this manner, i.e. if each player blocks all 4 color groups of the other, the game will end when the last property is bought from the bank and the second player has played. All properties will be returned to the bank for their full purchase price unless mortgaged. If mortgaged they must be paid off, then returned to the bank. Get Out of Jail Free cards will be redeemed for $50 each. The player with the most money shall be declared the winner. The valuation of the game will be the difference between the total cash of the winning and losing players.

Explanation of Chart
As stated above, this is a two-person game and property color groups are preassigned. The chart will, in the first section, will give the property groups assigned (numbered 1 through 8, in order, starting with the lowest rank) and game results, along with the game valuation to the winner. The second section, with single-numbered teams, will display the cumulative results and game valuations of each color group, whether or not it was instrumental in the final game determination. There will be a total of 35 games played for each color group in this section per table. The third section, with 35 teams of two color groups each, will display the cumulative results and game valuations of each possible pair of color groups when coupled in the game assignment. There will be a total of 15 games played per pair. The fourth section, with 56 teams of three color groups each, will display the cumulative results and game valuations of each possible triplet of color groups when coupled in the game assignment. There will be a total of five games played per triplet.
The last table, appropriately titled "Totals", will give the cumulative results of all groups of all games played.

Note
The only other way a game could possibly end is to have all color groups available to each player purchased and fully developed and no clear-cut winner can be determined. I've never run across this possibility in all the years I've been playing this game so it isn't covered here.

Update
The charts have been reformatted to allow game and cash win/loss percentages. The files used to generate this information have been modified to reduce the possibility of published errors. I am not yet totally pleased with the published format; this may change again in the future.
