Schedule

FRIDAY

Mini-tournaments will be hosted on Friday evening for all those who care to play. Each tournament will be single elimination and winner take all. Seeding will be random. Byes will be considered a win in the mini-tournaments. Entry fee for each tournament will be $5.00. Tournaments will be 4-hand, minimum 3 rounds per tournament as follows:

8 PM: Regular pinochle (high score wins)
9 PM: Dump (no bidding, high score wins)
10 PM: Reverse (low score wins).

Saturday registration will begin at 8:00 am through 8:45 am only.

Times

All games will begin at the times as outlined below. The TD clock will be used for all start and stop times. Seeding will be random.

The tournament is completed at the end of 8 rounds. Winner of each game is the team with the high score for the game. If any pair partner is not at the table at the scheduled start time 60 points will be deducted from that pair's game score. 5 minute warnings will be given prior to the end of each round. No one is allowed to deal a new hand after the 5 minute warning has been given. If the deal of the hand is in progress at the 5 minute warning the hand may be played. Exception to this rule is at tables where tournament directors are playing to cover any time away from table to perform necessary tournament functions.

Awards

Prizes will be awarded immediately after the tournament as soon as the scores can be computed and sorted. Prize money will be determined by the number of entries and after expenses have been deducted. 1-10 teams will pay the top 3 teams; 1st = 50%, 2nd = 35%, 3 = 15%. 11-20 teams will pay the top 4 teams; 4th with receive their entry fee of $30 each. After that amount has been has been deducted from the prize fund, the other 3 places will pay 1st = 50%, 2nd = 35%, 3rd = 15%.
